I have an old Ensoniq EPS 16+ that I picked up cheaply. However the floppy disk unit doesn’t load any of the OS disks that I manage to collect. I assume that Floppy Disk Drive is faulty. What can I do to replace this with USB or SD card reader? It’s too big to use it as a door stopper so I need to do something about it.

Good afternoon. I have two Roland XP-80s. This is my beloved keyboard for everything from sequencing to making CD’s. I have tried another emulator, but was frustrated after installing it. Does this erase the confusion of installing it and do you submit instructions on installing it? I have several floppy disks that I have recorded on for the last 16 years. Ok! Let me understand a thing or two. I can store multiple floppy disks for asr10 to a single sd card and save new files or adding more files to the same sd card without erasing the information on the sd card thru formatting. Can I create more floppy images on the sd card thru the asr10 by it self. In other words, each floppy disk would be considered as a folder. Now, is there a limit on the sd card or pendrive for size of the flexidrive?
Yes. You can store up 2500 asr10 disks on a single SD Card or USB PenDrive. Also you can save new files to the SD Card or USB PenDrive without formatting.
You can create new asr10 blank disks form the user menu on the FlexiDrive.
Each floppy disk will be a single image file .ima on the SD Card or USB PenDrive, not a folder. We provide with the FlexiDrive the FlexiImage tool to create image files from your Ensoniq asr10. If you have some other questions, please let me know. Thanks and BR, The FlexiDrive Support Team.
Does this product speed up ASR-10 boot-up time like a SCSI drive or does it only increase storage capacity?
